The annual meeting of the Penobscot River Paddling Trail will start with a morning paddle on Saturday, Aug. 16. We’ll meet at 10 am at the Howland Boat Launch at Tannery Park to put in, and paddle 8 miles downstream to the campsite at Nibezun in Passadumkeag for lunch and our meeting. Bring a boat, paddle, PFD, water, and lunch, and protection from rain, sun, and bugs.

Alternatively, just drive to Nibezun for lunch at noon and the Annual Meeting to follow. Nibezun is located at 18 Nepisikwit Drive, Passadumkeag. Park near the first building you come to, the utility garage, walk down to the river, turn right, and walk to the campsite.
