PRPT is collaborating with Maine Woods Forever on this day

The Penobscot River Paddling Trail will have its Annual Meeting, paddle, and lunch on Sunday, July 12, at Nibezun in Passadumkeag. 

There are two options if you would like to paddle to the meeting, or you can simply drive to Nibezun, 18 Nepisikwit Dr, Passadumkeag, ME 04475, arriving at noon.

To paddle, we will meet at 9 a.m. at the Tannery Park boat launch on Bridge St. in Howland, for an 8-mile paddle to Nibezun.  Or, for a shorter 4-mile paddle, watch for us as we pass the Passadumkeag Boat Launch on Rt. 2 around 10:30 a.m., and join us. 

We will take out at the Nibezun campsite (PRPT) for lunch (bring your own) and our Annual Meeting, both from Noon-2 p.m. A highlight will be the installation of the first interpretive display in our Wabanaki History Education series, designed by Nick Bear and Gabe Paul. 

Shuttles back to the two put-ins will follow the meeting.
